Alex Curran is an English model and fashion columnist born on September 23, 1982 in Norris Green, Liverpool. She first worked as a nail technician and eventually became a model.

Raised in Maghull, Alex Curran attended Maghull High School. She first gained fame as a model and for being romantically involved with businessman Tony Richardson. After their relationship ended, she began dating football player Steven Gerard in 2002. They became engaged, and during that time she became a member of the “WAGs” (wives and girlfriends) of the England national football team. Among the other WAGs are Victoria Beckham, Cheryl Cole and Coleen McLoughlin.

Alex Curran and Steven Gerrard have two daughters, Lilly-Ella and Lexie. They currently reside in Formby, Merseyside. They were married on June 16, 2007 at the Cliveden House Luxury Hotel in Berkshire.
